Pay It Forward

I am sitting here watching Idol and it went to commercial. Rarely do I actually watch the commercials but something came over me and I just looked up and caught this commercial. It starts with a mom pushing a child in a stroller and the child drops a toy in the street and a passerby picks up the toy and says thank you. Then the mom is paying for lunch and as she is leaving she notices a coffee cup on the edge of a table and moves it so it doesn't spill. Then the person that had that coffee cup does something nice for someone else and so on and so on. It was so captivating to me. I couldn't stop thinking about how different the world we live in would be if we all just did something nice for someone else just because. I know so many of us do, but imagine what it would be like if everyone did. I don't know what possessed me to stay sitting during that commercial break. I urge you all to do something nice each day for a complete stranger. What an amazing change we could make!
